Abstract:
This study aims to (1) evaluate the impact of strategic sustainability practices on business success, (2) identify the key components of effective sustainability strategies, and (3) assess the role of sustainability in enhancing corporate reputation. A survey research design was employed to gather detailed insights from a large sample. Using Taro Yamane's formula, a sample size of 380 respondents was selected to ensure statistical significance. The research was conducted among manufacturing firms in Lagos, Nigeria, known for their focus on sustainability. The reliability coefficient score of the survey was 0.92. The findings indicate that strategic sustainability practices significantly contribute to business success by improving operational efficiencies, enhancing corporate reputation, and promoting long-term growth. Recommendations include integrating sustainability into core business strategies, regularly evaluating the impact of sustainability initiatives, and engaging stakeholders in sustainability planning and execution.
